I’m MollyKate, and I want to say a big THANK YOU for stoppin’ by my blog today! For those of you who don’t know me (and no, I don’t mean like on social media….we all know social media can be deceiving!) I wanna fill you in a bit on who I am, and what I’ve been up to! (And please leave a comment below, because I’d love to meet you too!)
Currently, I’m 20 years old and in my junior year of college at the Columbus College of Art & Design in Columbus, Ohio! I study fashion design and I minor in business…I actually love the idea of business so much that just a couple weeks ago, I launched my own! MollyKate Cline LLC, is an online blog that touches on fashion, faith, social media and mental health. Also available is SHOP MKC, where you can check in on the latest clothing items available for purchase. When I’m not designing clothing or blogging, you can catch me working as a trend forecaster and editorial photographer for Focus on the Family’s Christian fashion magazine, ‘Brio’.
All of that in short: I live my life to CREATE.
I’m a visual storyteller, and I’m always taking photos of things and writing in my journal. (I’m a huge list person! Hello Type A personality!)
Aside from what I do, a little bit about who I am is that I’m a very introverted and passionate person. I care very deeply about things (often to a fault) and find myself wanting to make a difference in any way I can. (Anyone else an INFJ?!)
Topics I’ve always been passionate about are mental health, anti-bullying, and suicide prevention. And topics that I’ve been learning more about since my time in college that get me excited are both sustainable fashion design and Christianity. On this blog, I often write about all of these topics and their intersections.
In my free time (the little bit that there is!) you can most likely find me at an antique store with my boyfriend Gabe, because we LOVE antiquing more than pretty much anything else! There’s just something about it that reminds me that life can and should be, so simple.
Aside from antiquing, I love helping out at my local church with our youth group and going to my college’s weekly Bible Study. I also enjoy traveling, binge watching Netflix, baking Italian desserts, and doing self portrait photography!
Enough about me! Leave a comment below and introduce yourself, and let me know what you’re most excited for me to start blogging about!
